ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) opens its doors for the 2014 show on 4th February.
ISE is a “must visit” show
ISE is Europe’s largest trade show for Audio/Video, Automation and Control. It spans residential and commercial applications and is a truly global show in terms of the manufacturers it attracts. Quite simply, ISE is a “must visit” show if you’ve any interest in Audio, Video, Automation or Control technologies. We’ll be there and will be reviewing the latest developments we find on the blog. The show follows hard on the heels of CES in Las Vegas. This means its usually the first place in Europe to see some of the latest innovations in Consumer Electronics.
We’re looking forward to seeing what the major Lighting Control systems have to offer. We’re also looking forward to having a look at the latest integration developments from people like Control4, Crestron and AMX. More difficult to explain is we’re looking for the hidden gem; the widget or gadget that you’re not expecting but absolutely knocks your socks off. ISE atracts the global giants of technology. Companies like Samsung & Mitsubishi have stands or “booths” the size of small shows but gathered around these massive stands are the small companies, the new companies with maybe one great innovation to showcase. Hunting out the hidden treasures is a must at ISE. Finally we’re looking forward to catching up with a load of great people. ISE is a great opportunity to meet people and put faces to names. A lot of our American and Asian contacts make one pilgrimage to Europe a year and ISE is the draw that brings them.
“Managing Lighting in the Home”
One more reason we’re excited about ISE 2014. We’re speaking at the ISE Residential Solutions Theatre on the Wednesday. The session developed with CEDIA looks at the changing lighting landscape and how the changes impact on both lighting design and lighting control.
If you’re going and you’ve never been before remember one thing. ISE is vast. Check out the useful links below because planning your trip is essential.
