Shooting picture lighting at Swinton Park Hotel
Swinton Park is a luxury country house hotel in the Yorkshire Dales, with fine dining, cookery school, spa and extensive grounds. We were approached in 2014 to light the artwork in some of the hotel’s public areas. Yesterday we were on site with Charlotte Gale shooting some of the results.
We’ve used the amazing ArtView picture light to light the large canvasses. It delivers a remarkably even coverage of light across very large pictures. Individual picture light control means the light for each canvas can be tuned to that particular pieces colour and characteristics.
The quick snap above doesn’t show the capabilities of the ArtView at all but we know Charlotte’s pictures will. We will have a full case study of this project up soon.
