TXDTC PHD Phase/Mains Dimmable LED Driver. Constant Current Driver. Available in 350mA, 500mA and 700mA versions.
LEDs use specific drivers to run them, they are different from normal low voltage fittings in that they must be wired in series and need a constant current. They may be located 10 metres from a luminaire, with an ‘in series’ wiring method required.
Phase/Mains trailing edge dimmable drivers must always be specified with care as there are many factors that can effect how well they dim. If possible on a project it is best to use mains dimmable drivers from the same manufacturer, especially if they are on the same circuit. For more details on dimming see our 'Technical Buyers Guide'
Single LED fittings
If using a dedicated LED fittings 1.2W/350mA, 1.7W/500mA , 2.4W/700mA drivers will run 1-11 x fittings
2 x Single LED fittings
If using a dedicated LED fittings 2.4W/350mA, 3.4W/500mA , 4.8W/700mA drivers will run 1-5 x fittings
3 Cluster LED fittings
If using dedicated LED fittings 3.6W/350mA or 5.1W/500mA drivers will run 1 - 3 x fittings
4 Chip LED fittings
If using dedicated LED fittings 5W/350mA or 7W/500mA drivers will run 1 - 3 fittings
2 x 4 Chip LED fittings
If using dedicated LED fittings 2 x 5W(10W)/350mA or 2 x 7W(14W)/500mA drivers will run 1 fittings
