LD72M IP54 is a miniature LED downlight ideal for display, niches or general accent downlighting effects. It is very discreet with the LED set back by 10mm to reduce the glare.
It utilizes the latest LED technology with a typical CRI of 93 in warm white. As standard the LD72M is IP40 rated, but can be specified as IP54 for wet environments like bathrooms and spa areas.
Fixing is by 2 spring fixing clips. Comes pre-wired with a 2 core 100mm lead.
The higher the current (mA) the fitting is run at the more light you will get but the warmer the fitting gets. LD72M can be driven up to a current of 700mA (2.4W) at an ambient of 35°C. If using in ambient temperatures of up to 45°C or very small voids then specify at 500mA max, LD72M-500. Run at 350mA for lighting particularly small areas or for the most subtle effect.
Driver Options
The LD72M IP54 is a constant current fitting which requires a driver to run it, drivers can run multiple fittings but fittings must be wired in series
With an appropriate driver the fitting is dimmable via 0-10V, DALI and Mains leading/trailing edge or non-dim. Please select dimming type on options tab above and that will take you through to a page detailing how many fittings you can run per driver
Installation Notes
The cable run between the driver and the fittings shouldn't exceed 10m. The driver should be located somewhere discrete, allowing air movement, and accessible for maintenance.
N.B. Please read The Lighting Buyer's Technical Reference Guide for recommendations and watch-outs around different dimming methods and LED wiring.
