LD150-E3 LED uplight

A fabulous quality IP54 high powered with optional glare shields for a very low glare recessed uplight, designed specifically to light walls and columns.

The IP54 rated LD150 buried uplighter is a very powerful luminaire for its size and depth. As standard the fitting comes without a glare shield to reduce glare use the GS glare shield which provides an excellent balance between glare control and output by only reducing the output by 30%. The halfmoon glare shield is available for applications that require very low glare but it does reduce the output by 60%.

Available with a range of beam widths from a narrow 10° for a pinpoint of light for column lighting to the extra wide 54° for an even spread of light ideal for wall washing.

Available in Warm White, White and Red/Green/Blue/White (RGBW) for details on the colour changing option please contact us.

Quality of light is excellent and longevity is achieved with very good thermal management.

A 50,000 life expectancy and a 3 Year fitting warranty.

Designed and made in the UK.

To get the perfect results you choose the product attributes (eg; output, beam width etc) below.  These fittings need a separate driver and you will be taken through to the Driver Options page next.  Because you are taken through automatically when you add fittings to the Basket, we suggest that you read the Technical Section below first. This will help you make the right driver choice.  For help with all of the product attribute choices please read our Technical Reference Guide (see pdf download below).

See the product spec sheet in Downloads for fixing options.  If you require an Install Sleeve more quickly than you need the fittings themselves please ask for 'Installation Accessories Advance Shipment' after you've added the fittings to your Basket.

Technical

The IP54 rated LD150 buried uplighter is a very powerful luminaire for its size and depth.   Suitable for internal use only - if for external applications use the IP67 rated LD151.

Available in Warm White, White and Red/Green/Blue/White (RGBW) for details on the colour changing option please contact us.

Fixing is by mounting directly into a cut out with the soft silicon seal, using the fixing sleeve, or the concrete housing with optional integral driver. LD150 can be run up to a maximum current of 500mA (7W).  Comes pre-wired with a 2 core 100mm cable.

Driver Options

The LD150 is a constant current fitting which requires a driver to run it, drivers can run multiple fittings but fittings must be wired in series

With an appropriate driver the fitting is dimmable via 0-10V, DALI and Mains leading/trailing edge or non-dim. Please select dimming type on options tab above and that will take you through to a page detailing how many fittings you can run per driver

Installation Notes

The fittings should be wired in series, and the cable run between the driver and the fittings shouldn't exceed 10m.  The driver should be located somewhere discrete, allowing air movement, and accessible for maintenance.

N.B.  Please read The Lighting Buyer's Technical Reference Guide for recommendations and watch-outs around different dimming methods and LED wiring.
