Returns Policy

You can return  items bought from us by notifying us within fourteen days from the day after you receive your item.    Please notify the Sales department in writing, phone or via this cancellation form and we will issue with an returns (RMA) number.  The contact email for our sales department is sales@brilliantlighting.co.uk.  This “Cooling-Off” period applies to sales to consumers only.  We will refund the cost of the goods plus the standard postage cost for the goods.  We cannot refund any express, priority or special arrangement component of the postage cost.

Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping and taking reasonable care of them. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged during transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage.  You are liable for the cost of returning goods to us.

You are required to treat the goods with reasonable care and we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount if the goods have been handled inappropriately, in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

We regret that custom or bespoke items cannot be cancelled or returned unless damaged or not as requested.

Faulty Items

If goods are faulty you are entitled to a full refund provided you notify us within 30 days of receipt of goods.  Please notify the Sales department in writing, phone or via this cancellation form and we will issue with an returns (RMA) number.  The contact email for our Sales department is sales@brilliantlighting.co.uk.  We will refund the cost of the goods plus the standard postage cost for the goods.

Incorrect Items

If we have sent you an incorrect item, please notify us as soon as possible or within 28 days and we will arrange for the item to be collected. If you would like us to replace the incorrect item with the item you ordered we will send you the correct item as soon as possible or alternatively we will refund the item once it has been returned.

Damages

In the event of receiving damaged or missing goods, and where liable, we will endeavour to rectify the situation as promptly as possible.  All damaged items and shortages must be notified within 3 working days of receipt of goods. Please contact our sales department with details of the damage, including a photograph of the damaged item and request a returns (RMA) number.  The contact email for our sales department is sales@brilliantlighting.co.uk   You are not liable for the cost of returning goods that are received faulty or damaged.

We must be notified if the goods are not due to be unpacked within 3 days of receipt.

We will take no responsibility for damages incurred in transit when using your own shipper. A signature from your chosen courier on collection confirms that they are receiving your order in good condition, and that boxes have been labelled in accordance with their specifications. Your shipper should provide you with the necessary insurance to cover your order.

Items Damaged in Transit

If you take delivery of a package from us and the contents have been damaged in transit, we will exchange the damaged items without charge to you provided you return the damaged item(s) to us within 30 days of taking delivery. Please contact our sales department with details of the damage, including a photograph of the damaged packaging and request a returns (RMA) number.  The contact email for our sales department is sales@brilliantlighting.co.uk
